A cottage food law lets individuals make and sell certain low risk, shelf stable foods from a home kitchen without a commercial license, usually with a permit or food safety class and labeling rules. “Brewed & nondairy drinks” means selling black coffee, pour over, or cold brew direct to customers, legal under food freedom laws.
